Jessica + Carlos St. Columba and Cascade Wedding Day

By the time I shot Jessica and Carlos’s wedding I felt like I had known them and their family for ages.

I shot their engagement session and Jessica’s daughter Annie’s senior photos at Jessica’s mother’s house at the Glacier Club on two separate occasions before the wedding and met numerous of their family members and friends before the wedding day so once we got to the day I felt surrounded by familiar friendly faces.

Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Columba Catholic Church performed by Father Kevin.

It was a beautiful ceremony in a beautiful church with high white ceilings to echo all the beautiful words and music throughout their ceremony.

Jessica looked so beautiful all done up by Jamie Does Hair and in her dress from Bridal Boutique.

And Carlos looked so sharp in his stunning blue suit from Men’s Warehouse.

The flowers around the church, in the bouquet, the boutonnière looked lovely thanks to Colleen at April’s Garden.

After they shared vows, songs, rings, and their first kiss (!!!) we all walked out of the church triumphantly.

After a little mingling, certificate signing, and a few church photos we all headed straight from the church to the reception location north of town, Cascade Village.

The trees were exploding with fall colors, the aspens all a bright glittering yellow.

We went off to take the bride and groom portraits while we waited for everyone to transition between venues.

Once everyone had arrived we transitioned into group and family photos.

It was during these group photos that we took a pause to watch the Oklahoma Texas football game happening that day, given so many people there were from Oklahoma and Texas it was a pretty big deal.

So instead of rushing along the group photos I paused and just filmed them watching the game in case something interesting happened and I could catch their reaction.

And I am so glad I did!

The rest of the day was so fun.

Dinner was catered by Cascade Village’s in house chefs.

The toasts were all a great combination of meaningful, clever and funny.

Jessica and Carlos cut their beautiful cake from Barbara Mills.

And they danced their first dance they had been practicing for month and pulled it off excellently!

Aiko Aiko Sound kept the music and party flowing and I had so much fun capturing all the guests dance the night away before we saw the happy couple off with a fun grand exit of sparklers!

Thank you so much Jessica and Carlos for letting me be part of your amazing wedding day!
